Each year, teams from all over the world travel down to compete at the annual international Battle of the Year tournament. However, for over fifteen years, America repeatedly failed to win the Trophy. Determined to break the losing streak, Dante (Laz Alonso), a talented hip hop artist from Los Angeles, makes plans to create a team of the USA’s greatest dancers. With the help of his friend Blake (Josh Holloway), a former basketball coach, the pair compile a list and recruit twelve dancers that fit the “dream team.” The coaches and dancers are pushed to their limits as they are given only three months to train and bond together before the big Battle. Will the team break or will they finally be the one to bring home the Trophy?
